    IBPS PO 2016- Tips and Tricks to crack the exam

    Every year IBPS conducts various banking exams for banking like clerk, PO etc. Lakhs of students appear every year and only few get lucky to hit a job. First, let us understand the pattern of exam:
    Examination Process
    To successfully get the job, following process is followed by IBPS and each level has to be cleared.


    a.      IBPS PO- Pre: This exams contains three sections :
    ·         Reasoning (35 marks)
    ·         English (30 marks)
    ·         Quantitative aptitude (35 marks)

    Total duration of the exam is one hour. To clear Pre exam, one has to put lot of efforts as number of aspirants is high.
    b.      IBPS PO- Mains: This exam have following sections:
    ·           Reasoning
    ·         General Awareness
    ·         English
    ·         Quantitative Aptitude
    ·         Computer knowledge
    Total duration of the exam is approximately 2:00 to 2:30 hours.

    c.   Interview
    Those who successfully clears IBPS PO- Mains, are called for interview which are conducted at various centre of IBPS, which aims at evaluating your confidence and know- how about the current affairs.

    b.      Quantitative Aptitude
    Following are the main focus areas in Quantitative aptitude
    ·         Data interpretation – You get almost 15 questions from this topic, so you need to focus majorly in this area and have a sound command over pie- chart, graphs etc. If you have practiced enough for DI, your cut-off in this section is likely to be cleared very easily with good score.
    ·         Sequence, series
    ·         Number System
    ·         Quadratic Equation
    ·         Proportion, percentage and ratio

    Some important tips for IBPS PO -2016
    1.      Preparation needs a clear cut planning and schedule. Proper time management is required.
    2.      You should focus on each and every section of the exam, as sectional cut-offs need to be cleared along with total cut-off.

    4.      Practice enough sample papers before you appear for exam.
    5.      Do not skip your meals. Skipping meals can lead to malnutrition body and mind which will ultimately lower your energy level and you may not perform as expected.
