Overall percentage change = r1 + r2 + [ r1 * r2 / 100]

 r1 + r2 + [r1 * r2 / 100]

= (-30) + 10 + [(-30) * 10/100)

= -30+10-3

=-23%

Negative signs depict decrease in quantity.
